PEGGY CHOI

Peggy Choi was born in Hong Kong in 1955
Completed the Chinese Painting Diploma Course at the School of Continuing Education of the University of Hong Kong in 2018
Completed the Human Body Creation Course at the School of Continuing Education of the University of Hong Kong in 2019

Participated in many international art exhibitions including Ink Asia 2019, Asian Art in London 2019, Artnext Expo 2019 and 2021, Art Next:+VE/-VE 2020, Affordable Art Fair. In addition, in 2019, it was funded by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council Project

With a diploma in Chinese paintings and body art, I believe in the co-existence of all things in the world. This interweaving relationship is an ever-changing process and that every object, despite their inter- dependence with other objects, has its own beauty and characteristics. My art stems from this philosophy of mine and I attempt to portray common concepts of duality: beauty and ugliness, good and evil, good and bad, right and wrong, using various symbolisms and techniques, for arriving at abstract ink paintings that oppose and “rely on” one another simultaneously.
